ONE OF THE OLDEST PROPERTIES IN APPLEDORE This hidden gem is located less than a minute s walk from the quayside of Appledore. Reputedly one of the oldest properties in Appledore it has been recently converted to a high standard yet maintains much of its original charm and character with wooden floorboards and inglenook fireplace. The village of Appledore is situated at the point where the rivers Taw and Torridge meet before joining the Atlantic Ocean at Bideford bay. The village has a wealth of maritime history narrow streets cobbled courtyards and Fishermans cottages with many pubs and restaurants and maritime museum. Appledore is also a perfect location for touring the whole of North Devon with its choice of popular beaches coastal walks golf courses and family attractions which include The Big Sheep Dartington Crystal RHS Rosemoor The Milky Way and more.
