Lochgilphead offers shops places to eat out a swimming pool and activities for all ages including golf fishing pony trekking cycle hire and ferry trips to the islands. This is an excellent base for touring south to the Mull of Kintyre north towards Oban or into the quiet hinterland of west coast Argyll.
