The glorious tranquil setting provides spectacular views. Although a countryside retreat there are many wonderful beaches coastal walks and sheltered coves nearby as well as many local towns such as Bideford with its well known pannier market shops and restaurants or Bude which is perfect for surfers and sunbathers alike. The local fishing village of Clovelly with its cobbled streets is worth a visit or larger attractions such as the family theme parks The Big Sheep and The Milky Way all provide a great day out for the whole family. Farm activities: guests are encouraged to visit the Golden Guernsey goats chickens turkeys and geese on the family farm and are welcome to help the owners feed the animals.
