The owners have carefully renovated and beautifully furnished the cottage to a good standard with many tasteful finishing touches to provide a truly relaxing all-year-round getaway ideally located for touring and exploring the whole of North Devon. The immediate area offers superb walking country and Exmoor with its wonderful scenery and walks is close by. Walking and cycling on the Tarka Trail is within easy reach at Barnstaple which also offers an array of leisure facilities and a huge selection of pubs restaurants and shops and is only a 15 minute drive. Here you will be ideally based for all that the Westcountry has to offer from the rugged landscapes of Dartmoor and Exmoor to breathtaking beaches and coastlines including Westward Ho! Croyde Saunton and Woolacombe all within a 30 minute drive. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with attractive Victorian bed and 1 twin with a 3 single and a 2 6 single. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with TV DVD hi-fi and cast iron coal effect gas stove for those cooler out-of-season evenings. Dining room: separate. Kitchen: with gas hob electric oven fridge with ice box microwave and washing machine. Outside: paved courtyard area with steps leading to small charming terraced garden with seating and BBQ where you can relax and watch village life go by.
