This house is located in the middle of the natural environment of the Chartreuse Mountains, in a valley containing the rippling waters of the Sioule. What a magnificent location, halfway up a mountain near the Puy de D0me! Behind the house there is a lovely garden of approximately 1 hectare. Here you will find an outdoor fireplace, hammock, swing, etc. From the garden you can easily visit the ruins of the famous monastery of the Grande Chartreuse. You are also close to the Parc Regional des Volcans, the green heart of the Auvergne. A beautiful route curls up around the Puy de D0me. From the top you have a wonderful panorama, including the hamlet of La Gardette in Olby. Of mountain streams and lakes there is no shortage, including a picturesque waterfall near Say, the recreational lakes of Serbs Lac and Lac d'Aydat which provide the opportunity to enjoy a variety of water sports. Wonderful walks in the forest can be undertaken directly from the house. Furthermore, there are plenty of castles you can visit: for example, Chateau-Dauphin in Pontgibaud and Cordes. Chateau Murol is worth special mention. In the summer this huge medieval fortress is inhabited by real knights, who regularly engage in sword fights. You should not skip a visit to the historic city of Clermont-Ferrand with its various attractions. In Ceyssat there is a tennis court and restaurant. Daily shopping can be done in Les Ancizes-Comps where you will find a supermarket and bakery....more
