Nestling peacefully in a rural hamlet location adjacent to a quiet country lane opposite fields, these beautifully presented holiday properties provide a wonderful retreat from which to discover the delights of the island. Situated in the grounds of a Grade II listed thatched cottage, they have been fully refurbished and stylishly furnished. They have exposed stone and beams and offer an ideal retreat for couples - perfectly located for keen walkers and cyclists. Chale village, 1½ miles, lies at the foot of St Catherines Hill, and close by there are stunning walks along miles of Heritage coastline, beaches and country pubs. Within easy reach are St Catherines Lighthouse, pretty villages of Shorwell Brighstone, Chale and Niton and amazing rock formations of the Needles. Blackgang Chine and Yarmouth Harbour are also within easy reach as well as numerous other holiday attractions. Picturesque thatched rooftop villages such as Old Shanklin, Godshill and Brighstone serve ice cream and cream teas, and many of the seaside resorts serve freshly caught fish of the day. This temperate island has towering cliffs, beaches, bays and coves, farmlands, river valleys and steep ravines, all linked by a
500-mile network of footpaths including 68 miles of coastal walks with spectacular views which are all accessed easily. For the outdoor enthusiast, there are also some great golf courses, riding, mountain biking, fishing, sailing, crabbing, surfing, kite flying, hang gliding and jet skiing.
