This imposing detached house sits just on the edge of the pretty coastal village of Mortehoe, in an elevated position in 2 acres of its own garden and has views across the cliff tops to the sea beyond. Offering spacious living and an external games room, the house is ideal for large family or group gatherings. Guests will have plenty of room to spread out and ensure a relaxing holiday in this stunning part of the country or to celebrate a special occasion in style. The Grange is a short walk from the village with local shops including a post office/newsagent, general store, delicatessen, restaurants (one of which is renowned as one of the best fish restaurants in the south west), fish and chip shop, three public houses serving food, heritage centre and a church with a medieval history. Walk from the house on to the coastal path, local beaches and coves. Woolacombe beach is 1 mile away. Measuring 2 miles this impressive Blue Flag beach is ideal for surfing or walking through the sand dunes. Exmoor is a short drive away with spectacular views. There are NT properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington. Barnstaple, 12 miles away, has theatre, cinema and leisure activities, and places of interest include the Museum of North Devon, Pannier Market, 14th-century St Anne’s Chapel and 18th-century Queen Anne’s Walk. Braunton is the gateway to North Devon’s surfing area. There is plenty to do for all ages in the area including numerous quality golf courses, Clovelly, lighthouse and quay at Hartland, the Big Sheep and Milky Way amusement parks, cycling on the Tarka Trail or crabbing at Appledore quay.
