Next door is a welcoming 18 hole golf course and just 1½ miles away lies the picturesque village of Audlem – scenic towpath walks along the Shropshire Union Canal link the village with Nantwich where canal day boats can be hired – whilst Stapeley Water Gardens Bridgemere Garden World and Tropical Oasis are all under 6 miles. The historic city of Chester with its designer shopping and 110 acre garden zoo and Liverpool home to the Albert Docks Beatles Museum and so much more are both within an hour's drive as are The Potteries Alton Towers Waterworld and Ironbridge Industrial Museum as well as fascinating National Trust properties including Little Moreton Hall Tatton Park and Styal Mill.
