From the patio, the balcony and the living room, look out over the beautiful dunes of Holywell Bay, a wide expanse of golden sands on Cornwall’s dramatic North Coast. A 2-minute stroll from the garden leads to the middle of the dunes and the edge of the beach, confirms that this spacious detached holiday home deserves the name Beach House. The garden has a large decked area to enjoy al fresco dining at anytime of the day or a barbecue at the end of the day on the beach. There are many tourist attractions for all members of the family from Holywell Bay’s very own fun park and golf course just minutes from the house, to Crealy Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Railway and Dairyland which are just a few of the attractions aimed at younger members of the family. A surf school and hire shop, two good pubs that serve local produce and a beach shop are all available in the village. Horse riding, cycling, diving and sea fishing are all available locally. A short drive or good walk along the coastal path, that runs close to the house, leads to Crantock, a quaint village with its own golden beach. Newquay, with its surf and beach culture is close by and has many restaurants, shopping, a zoo, leisure centre, swimming and a working harbour where visitors can take to the sea on one of the many fishing boats and hopefully catch the evening’s dinner. Watergate Bay, home to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurants is nearby and Padstow, with many excellent eateries, including Rick Stein’s restaurant and excellent fish and chip shop is a short drive along one of the most beautiful coast roads in the country and a must for all visitors. Shops 1 mile, pub 40 yards.
