Furnished and equipped to a high standard it offers a wonderful holiday base to explore Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Many designated cycle routes nearby and several golf courses. The coastline at Budle Bay (AONB) is a haven for sea birds, and the Farne Islands (explored by boat) are a sanctuary for puffins, kittywakes and grey seals. The village of Bamburgh with its miles of unspoilt sandy beaches is close by, as are Craster, Alnwick, Lindisfarne and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Shops 1½ miles.
