This large Victorian three-storey Cotswold stone house has many period features and dates back to 1897. One of a pair, it has been sympathetically decorated in period style and lies almost opposite the church along a village road, within easy walking distance of the pretty Cotswold village of Broadway with its interesting shops, art galleries and restaurants. Broadway is often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’ and the ‘Show Village of England’ because of its sheer beauty and magnificence. The wide grass-fringed street is lined with ancient honey coloured limestone buildings dating back to the 16th century.
The holiday property is the perfect touring base for the many beautiful Cotswold villages and towns including Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. Located midway between the Regency town of Cheltenham and the famous birthplace of Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon, both with shops, theatres and racecourses, it offers excellent days out. For those who enjoy National Trust properties and gardens, Hidcote Manor and Kiftsgate Court are within easy reach. Shop restaurant 150 yards, pub 100 yards.
