This well-preserved, three-storey weaver’s cottage is one of a row set in the quiet Sir Richard Arkwright Society Heritage Site. Beautifully restored, it was built in the 1770s for the weavers who worked at the world’s first water-powered cotton mill. Excellent walks nearby leading to Black Rocks, High Peak Trail, Cromford Mills and canal. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, many NT properties and Carsington Water (watersports, bird-watching) within easy reach. Shop 500 yards, pub 200 yards.
