Just five miles from the stunning North Cornish Coast, nestled within a peaceful hamlet, Broad Langdon Cottage is a spacious 200-year-old detached Cornish farmhouse which has been beautifully restored by the current owners. An ideal choice for family and friends to escape to. Original slate floors and beautiful fireplaces give this property real Cornish charm, whilst it enjoys underfloor heating in most of the ground floor rooms, beautiful furnishings throughout, superb en-suite facilities to the four main bedrooms and two cosy wood-burning stoves to enjoy on a winter’s evening. Visitors can relax and unwind, or enjoy a summer barbecue, in the delightful gardens which overlook the owners’ 20 acres of farmland, running down to the pretty River Ottery. The pretty fishing villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow are only a short drive and this breathtaking coastline boasts many unspoilt beaches and hidden coves. Children will love the sandy beaches and the area is a must for walkers, watersports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen. Crackington Haven is just 5 miles and is a wonderful spot to explore the many rockpools at low tide, whilst nearby Widemouth Bay and Bude have large sandy beaches which are a must for surfers. Bude (8 miles) has town amenities, restaurants, and pretty gift shops and galleries. Ten-pin bowling, mountain boarding, indoor splash pool and a superb 18-hole golf course are all on offer, and the internationally acclaimed annual jazz festival is not to be missed. The Eden Project is within easy reach, as are many other family attractions including Crealy Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Shop and pub 2½ miles.
