Each is tastefully decorated with fittings and furnishings of a high standard to provide quality accommodation specifically for couples. The beautiful country town of Ballater, 2 miles away, has quality shops (many displaying the Royal Warrant), pubs, galleries and a renowned country club. Aberdeen with its excellent facilities is 40 miles down the valley. Royal Deeside lies at the gateway to the Cairngorm National Park in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers much in the way of spectacular scenery, wildlife and activities - walking, biking, climbing, golf, angling, riding, gliding and winter sports are all within easy reach. The cottages are ideally situated for touring with easy access to the Whisky and Castle Trails, the magnificent high passes into Perthshire or north to Inverness and the picturesque Moray Firth coast.
