NEWLY CONVERTED BARN ON EDGE OF PRETTY VILLAGE This newly converted barn is set in the grounds of the owner's home on the edge of this pretty and traditional village of Horsington, and provides superb accommodation and privacy for an idyllic holiday. Well placed to visit the whole of Somerset and neighbouring counties of Wiltshire and Dorset. The coastal resorts of Lyme Regis, Bournemouth and Weymouth are within easy reach. The World Heritage City of Bath and towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are easily accessible. For family days out, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Caves, Yeovilton Air Museum, Clarks shopping village, The Lions of Longleat and Stourhead Gardens are well worth a visit. There are three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to a wide variety of wildlife. The Mendip Hills are the home of the ancient city of Wells and the renowned, mysterious town of Glastonbury, both of which are also within easy reach. Also nearby is Compton Abbas Airfield where you can sit on the runway terrace and enjoy a drink or a meal whilst watching the aircraft activity, you can even buy a flying experience yourself. Or why not have a flutter at nearby Wincanton racecourse which is famed for its friendly atmosphere and superb facilities. Stabling: for up to 2 ponies/horses is available at an additional cost. The well furnished cottage has TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin room, both upstairs and both having access to an en-suite WC with small washbasin. Bathroom: downstairs with shower over bath and WC.
